YOUR TIME AT SUMMER ROAD
A thoughtful stay
starts here.
A few useful things to know before you arrive—and while you’re enjoying the retreat. Your reservation’s confirmed instructions and terms always come first.

A HOME, NOT JUST A PLACE TO STAY
Settle in.
Take good care.
We hope you’ll enjoy the home and grounds as much as our family does. A little preparation and care help make that possible for everyone.
Before you travel
Your arrival details
Use your booking confirmation and messages from your host for check-in and check-out times, directions, entry instructions, and agreed stay terms. Entry codes and private arrival details are not published on this page.
Planning for your group
The main home has six bedrooms and sleeping arrangements for 14 guests. Confirm your final guest count and any changes with your host before arrival. The yurt is not part of this sleeping capacity; ask about its permitted use separately.
Access and mobility
The listing describes an entrance ramp and two main-level bedrooms. Ask the host to confirm current access, the location of your preferred rooms, and bathroom suitability for your specific needs before booking.
Enjoying the grounds
River, stream, and swimming holes
These are natural areas, not supervised swimming facilities. Water levels, footing, and conditions vary. Children should always be supervised near the river, stream, pond, and swimming holes. Follow the host’s current access guidance.
Fishing at the trout pond
The stocked trout pond is catch-and-release only. Ask about equipment and access before your stay. Leave the pond ready for the next guests to enjoy.
Walking trails and outdoor evenings
Ask for current routes and access guidance before exploring; this website is not a trail-navigation map. Respect the land and wildlife. Confirm current fire-use rules and equipment with the host before lighting a fire.
Making yourself at home
Meals, movies, and game nights
Enjoy the full kitchen and dining area, private movie theater, air hockey, indoor basketball, and board games. Follow the house guide for equipment instructions and return games and pieces after use.
Questions or something not right?
Use the host contact details in your booking confirmation or welcome binder. If booked through Airbnb or Vrbo, your reservation message thread is also a way to contact your host. Report an issue promptly so the host has a chance to help. The direct-stay request form is for future stays, not urgent assistance.
Before you leave
Follow the departure instructions provided for your reservation, check for belongings, and let your host know about anything damaged or needing attention. Never assume check-out times or cleaning requirements from a general website guide.
